Todd Murphy brings up his 100th game

Todd Murphy will notch up his 100th game in the Intrust Super Cup this weekend when the undefeated Vantage Homes Sunshine Coast Falcons take on the Northern Pride.

Murphy started playing NRL when he was just a boy with stints at the Brisbane Broncos, Cronulla Sharks, North Devils, Redcliffe Dolphins and now this year, here with the Falcons.

Murphy says that he is very excited to be playing his 100th game in front of a home crowd, especially since the Sunshine Coast is where is grew up.

“I’m really looking forward to representing the Sunshine Coast,”

“I have great support here from family and friends.”

Cheering him on in the crowd will be his biggest supporters, his mum, dad, partner Courtney and his newborn son Taj.

This will be Murphy’s second week back, after taking time off to welcome his first child into the world.

“I’m loving it, no words can describe it.”

The Vantage Home Sunshine Coast Falcons are looking to make it 5/5 this weekend, to take top spot on the Intrust Super Cup ladder.

The last four wins however, haven’t been easy.

They have had to work hard to produce the victory every time, this week will be no different.

Murphy says today’s match up with the Pride will be very tough.

“There’s no easy games in the competition. We need to keep improving every week, starting today.”

Can our boys make it 5/5 this weekend?

Kick off against the Northern Pride is 3pm at the Sunshine Coast Stadium.
